It Ends with Us - Colleen Hoover Book Review

One might be completely ready to start a romantic novel as one picks up a book like It Ends with Us. But what awaits the reader is a totally different experience. It is an amalgamation of romance, family affairs and a study of husband-wife relationships. It does not take so much time for the reader to get attached to the character of Lily. She resonates with so many feelings that the reader can easily associate with. Since the novel has biographical elements, it is understandable how effortlessly the writer Colleen Hoover sketches the character of Lily. The novel is a testimony to the strength of womanhood; the strength which is beyond the usual suffering that is carelessly attributed to women in general. It raises some valid questions as to how far one should compromise and how far one can endure for the sake of a relationship to continue.
