Globalization and Communication.

i) Transportation and communication are the 2 most important factors contributing to globalization.

ii) Just as communication technologies affected the nature and extent of globalization, globalization has affected our methods and effects of communication.

iii) Just as there is an integration of economies and cultures (i.e, a transfer of goods and services, people and attitudes across the borders of communication and nations) there is an integration of technologies too. This also contributes to the considerable uniformity and sameness in the methods, products and effects of communication (e.g., T.V, Internet etc) bring very similar contents to far flung communities, producing similar effects.
